Many years ago now, in my late teens and on into my late twenties, I harboured a bit of a fascination with all things Qabalistic, Hermetic and Alchemical. It was more of an academic interest rather than anything practical, and formed part of a wider interest in the spectrum of beliefs which man has created over the millennia. Later on, I studied (but only cursorily) such things as Thelema, Chaos Magic and Satanism, just to balance things out a bit.
